RSI (Hand-Punch) clock requirements

RSI-Hand-Punch:

  1. Time clock will need a “Network Drop” for connectivity.
  2. Time clock will need an 110V AC power outlet within 5 feet of the clock.
  3. Each clock must have an internal Static IP address.
  4. With multiple Hand-Punch units, each clock MUST have its own individual Public/External IP address (it may be necessary to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to obtain multiple Public IP addresses).
  5. Open the firewall to allow traffic from TreeRing Time’s TimeClockServer with Public IP Address of: 174.129.220.45
  6. Open port 3001 TCP (for TreeRing Time’s Public IP address above).
  7. Make note of the Subnet Mask that the clock(s) are on. • Obtain the Router/Gateway IP Address.
  8. Hand-Punch units are 10 Mega bit ONLY. Clock(s) MUST be connected to a Switch/Hub that is 10Mb compatible. 10/100Mb auto-sensing devices are OK.
